Matthew 16:2-3

2 He answered and said to them, “When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; 3 and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites!  You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.

Last night I witnessed one of the most amazing sunsets!  I was heading out to pick Tara up from a birthday party and I immediately noticed some amazing cloud formations.  I went back home to grab my camera and kept stopping every couple minutes to take pictures.  I love when God gives us a sunset like this:

This was the southern sky in the beginning:
So you can see why I quickly ran back to get my camera.  The first two were taken on my street.  The rest were taken along the way to Tara's friends house which was about a 10 mile drive.

The next couple were the western sky.  Everywhere I looked was breathtaking.
Enjoy!!!!

And the rest will just be a combination of all the beautiful views that God graced us with.
What more can I say.  A beautiful sunset is a fleeting moment in time, but with a camera , it can always be remembered.

  1. Just awe-inspiring. Reminds me of the verse---

...And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. (Mark 13:26)

It's gonna be great when we do!

  4. Heather-He certainly does. I love how my girls will thank God for a beautiful sunset. My daughter Tara always tells me that when she goes to heaven, she's going to ask God if He'll let her paint a sunset.♡ Also, my girls and I have come to agreement that we think Gods favorite color is green. You can see green everywhere. I love all the beauty he has created for our enjoyment.
